Our Commitment to SDGs
We have contributed to the reduction of waste by encouraging the reuse of goods through the operation of reuse stores. We will continue to make company-wide efforts to achieve the SDGs in light of the most important element of our company philosophy, work for society.
Reuse business
We operate reuse stores throughout Japan and in some places overseas that buy unwanted items and sell them to new users. By promoting the reuse of goods, we will reduce waste and contribute to environmental protection.
HARD OFF ECO STADIUM NIIGATA
We have held the naming rights for the Niigata Prefectural Baseball Stadium since 2009. We will contribute to the local community by aiming to be the most environmentally friendly baseball stadium in Japan.
Reusable cups
As an ecological sponsor of J.League soccer team,Albirex Niigata, we support the operation of a deposit system for reusable cups at all official home games. This has the effect of reducing CO2 emissions by 30 tons per year.
Archery tournament
Once a year, using our free use rights for the HARD OFF ECO STADIUM NIIGATA, we hold an archery tournament that doubles as a sports tournament for the disabled.
Mt. Fuji cleanup
As a member company of the Japan Reuse Affairs Association, we participate in an annual cleanup of Mt. Fuji organized by the association.
